Merscher Carrier Consult GmbH was established in Hanover in 1988, evolving to become International Carrier Consult GmbH today. The company represents foreign airlines on the German-speaking market in its capacity as a General Sales Agent (GSA).

Thanks to many years of experience in the industry and exclusive co-operations, International Carrier Consult promotes strategic and trustworthy collaboration. For example, the Tunisian airline Nouvel­air has been a partner to the company for many years.

With destination airports in European and North-African holiday regions, International Carrier Consult offers tour operators an extensive portfolio of attractive destinations.

Strategy


  • CONSULTING

    Strategic consulting, market analyses and competitive comparisons, identification of development potentials and market alternatives for optimising flight plans.

  • PLANNING CHARTER FLIGHTS

    Commercial flight planning, drawing up potential analyses for departure airports, developing traffic day concepts and pricing models.

  • CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

    Designing framework and charter agreements and special agreements.

Technology


  • Data Bases

    Own Revenue Management System for implementing all business activities: planning, steering, billing and reporting from our own data base with interfaces to external tour operator and handling partner data bases.

  • Service

    Handling PNL, ADL or SSR in co-operation with the technology service-provider Air41; provision of a 24-hour hotline.

  • Claim Management

    Processing and handling all end customer queries on Claim Management via our in-house data base taking consideration of EU and travel legislation as well as in co-ordination with the airline partners.

Sales/Scheduling


  • SALES & CUSTOMER ACQUISITION

    Negotiating with tour operators for co-ordinating contingents and all sales terms; re-negotiations and capacity adjustments as required; ad-hoc flights.

  • SINGLE SEAT SALES

    Providing up-to-date prices and contingents in the relevant sales channels, incl. for developing dynamic packaging.

  • SCHEDULING & CONTROL

    Analysing flight capacity utilisation, steering the operator contingents, demand-driven planning of measures for optimum flight capacity utilisation taking consideration of the cost structure.
